When i was growing up, i used to have this romantic idea of becoming a fashion designer until i descovered my self and my talent. A few years ago I joined the design society of Kenya and as expected of a new-comer i was active attending and sharing my ideas on how the creative talents can be used to change lifes in the continent. To my disappointment the committee members did not share the same dream with me or was it was a case of expecting to much from them.
My dream is not completely forgotten and am calling on my creative friends in Kenya and across the world who share the same ideals with me that designers need an association to help nature proffessionalism in the industry.
